- They shares some similarities with Blast Zone, one of the SWAP Force Skylanders.
- They have the fire elemental symbol on their brooches.
- In the Toy Fair demo, the Fire Geargolem was stunned when Wash Buckler used his bubblegun on it in the earlier development stages of the game. This trait has been removed in the final version.
