- In Giants, they are replaced with Root Runners.
- They bare a resemblance to the Xenomorph eggs in the Alien movies.
- They are also similar to Candypop Buds from Pikmin. In Pikmin, They are large flowers, and when differently colored Pikmin are thrown in, Pikmin of the color of the flower are shot out.
