- “He bobs, he weaves, but also drops his guard”
- – Description
Jawbreakers are enemies first encountered in Kaos' Kastle, introduced through Kaos' royal servant, Brute. They keep their fists up to guard against attacks. Jawbreakers bob and weave while stepping around the Skylanders, primarily attacking by throwing a powerful punch. If their big punch misses, they momentarily fall to the ground, leaving them vulnerable. However, if a Skylander gets too close, they will throw a quick jab instead. If their big punch lands, they pause to laugh, creating another brief opening for counterattacks.

Trivia
- Strangely, although Jawbreakers appear to be large enemies, attacks that don't affect most large enemies (like Wrecking Ball's Enemy Slurp, Fright Rider's A Real Drag and Crusher's Stone Beam) do work on Jawbreakers. It is unknown if this is a glitch or if it’s because Jawbreakers aren't programmed as large enemies.
- A Trap Master Skylander would later share the same name as this enemy.
- Jawbreakers resemble Trog Wanderers, as both have green skin and yellow eyes. Although Jawbreakers also bear some visual similarities to Drow and Trolls, their actual species in unknown.
- In Skylanders Giants, the Jawbreakers' introduction text contains a typo: "He bobs, we weaves, but he also drops his guard."
- Jawbreakers were originally going to be called “Iron Spike Trollsen,” implying that Jawbreakers were originally going to be Trolls.[1]
- Despite this, however, Jawbreakers are not affected by the charm Sudsy Soap or Unerring Arrow, possibly because they are not programmed as large enemies/trolls.
- In alpha builds of Giants, Jawbreakers either take unusually long to get up after missing attacks or rise instantly. In Aerial Attack!, they can be tricked into lunging off the edge of the ship, performing a unique falling death animation.[2]
- If you trick a Jawbreaker into lunging off the edge of the level to its death, a special animation (completely different from their normal animation for falling off the map) will play. This special animation has the Jawbreaker humorously fall face-first off the island with its legs flailing in the air. Because of this, Jawbreakers are the only enemies in the series to have multiple animations for falling off the map. These animations can also be seen on the 3DS version
- On nightmare mode, a single punch from a Jawbreaker can do over 900 damage to a Skylander, making it the strongest attack from in non-boss enemy in all of Giants. Any Skylander, save for a few of the Giants at max level, will be KO’d instantly if they are hit by the attack.
- Jawbreakers' voices are lower-pitched versions of Blaze Brewers. Their voices are reused as the voices of the regular enemy version of Pain-Yatta.
