- The Big Bad Woofer is a reference to the Big Bad Wolf, a character from a few fabled stories like Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs.
- All normal enemies possess antennae on their heads.
- The Clock Rock's future half is based on his level, at a point the Big Bad Woofer was still active.
- This and Lair of the Golden Queen are the only levels where all of their villains became Senseis in Skylanders: Imaginators.
- It's heavily implied by this level, that in the Skylands' future, Skylanders will no longer exist, having been replaced by the Mabu Defense Force.
