Monster Marsh, also known as the Poisonous Swamp of Bad Decisions, is the seventh chapter in Skylanders: Trap Team. It is a cursed marsh where those who wander and live are doomed to make terrible choices. Its waters are highly poisonous, and strange monsters lurk around the area. Following Kaos's information, the Skylanders come to Monster Marsh to find the Dreamcatcher.

Trivia

  • Winkle, one of the residents, says that he dreamed that Cyclopses attacked the town, even though there weren't any.
    • However, he may have referred to the mutants, such as Eye Fives and Eye Screams, who, coincidentally, both have the word 'eye' in their names.
    • The skeleton breakables in Monster Marsh all have Cyclops skulls in them, implying that the village was attacked by them a long time ago, or the mutants are somehow related to them.
  • Besides Nightshade, Tae Kwon Crow is the only Dark villain whose Villain Quest does not take place in this chapter.
    • Coincidentally, both he and Nightshade have their Villain Quests involving Tessa, who does not appear in this chapter either.
    • This chapter has the most optional villains with 2 (Chomp Chest and Eye Scream).
  • The Troll Radios in this level announce that scientists have discovered the cure to Monster Marsh's curse, only for the message to go static just as the solution is revealed, ironically implying that the curse has struck again.
  • The beginning of Monster Marsh reuses versions of Rampant Ruins's theme. When Dreamcatcher attacks at the end of the level, variants of her theme (heard in Telescope Towers) replace the level's normal music.
