Molekin Mine is a level in the console version of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. Here, the player must save the Molekin that are trapped in a cave-in, and recover the Crucible of the Ages, a component of the Core of Light.
Description
Molekin Mine is a fully subterranean mine supported by wooden beams, lit with lamps, and equipped with train tracks. Rocks and crystals fill the level, and the mine shakes periodically, creating an unstable atmosphere as dust rains from the ceiling.

- Note: The Flame Imps and Lava Kings actually first appeared in Chapter 12, Troll Warehouse, but they were only in the area behind the Fire Elemental Gate.
Lost Islands
In Skylanders: Lost Islands, Molekin Mine is one of the locations to which Skylanders can adventure. It is unlocked for all Earth Skylanders of Hero Rank 3 and above, and Adventures there take 30 minutes and 130 energy, rewarding 150 Hero Points and 850 Gold.
Trivia
- By dashing into it with his Force Field Ball ability, Wrecking Ball can derail the minecart that appears in this level. If all 7 Molekin miners are collected while the cart is off-track, Diggs and the Crucible of the Ages will be placed in the minecart wherever Wrecking Ball pushed it. Nudging the minecart with any movement other than Force Field Ball will push it back toward its track.
- Arkeyan Ultrons are technically first encountered in this level, but they don’t get an enemy introduction cutscene.
