The Nightmare Express is the adventure pack releasing along with Skylanders: Trap Team. It comes with the Air Skylander, Blades and two Magic Items, Piggy Bank and Hand of Fate.

In the console versions, the level takes place in Flynn's wild imagination as he memoirs the story on how he found the legendary Trolly Grail. Noodles also appears as the level's antagonist, playing as a rival treasure hunter who also wants the Trolly Grail.

In the 3DS version, the Nightmare Express has run out of control and the Skylander must reach the front car and pull the brakes.

There is also a Legendary version of the Nightmare Express adventure pack.
