The Ancient Woods are the second area in the 3DS version of Skylanders: Swap Force. It is a magical woodland inhabited and powered by Fairies, with many strange wonders such as living trees and bioluminescent rooms inside mushrooms. In the game, Count Moneybone's forces took over the peaceful forest, draining it of its resources to power clockwork robots by trapping the fairies in machines and using Mana Pumps to suck the magic out of them, and the very land.
This area is the homeworld of Persephone, who is its Fairy Queen.
