The Arkeyan Armory is the second Magic level in the console versions of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. The Skylanders venture here to retrieve the Eternal Magic Source, the last component required to rebuild the Core of Light.

Description

Arkeyan Armory is a vast subterranean fortress containing the advanced remnants of the ancient Arkeyan race. This level contains grander technology than any other in the game, and as such it is full of high Arkeyan platforms, energy gates, and Arkeyan War Machines. Lakes of lava burn beneath the armory, which starts off shrouded in shadows at the level's beginning only to brighten once the Skylanders reactivate the armory's power.

Objectives

  • Use War Machine to find the temple
  • Use security card on the panel
  • Use switches to get the Eternal Magic Source

Trivia

  • According to the Skylanders: A to Z of Skylands, it was Kaos who hid the Eternal Magic Source within the vault.[1]
  • There is a glitch where saying no to starting this level for the first time on the Wii version will softlock your save in the form of the Weapon Master's prompt not reappearing, forcing a hard reset. This seems to not happen on European copies though.
  • Arkeyan Armory and the Vault of the Ancients have a number of interesting parallels. Both levels come very late in their games; are ancient, dark, magical, and mysterious; have guardians that pop up on pedestals; lost their light but can be illuminated by Skylanders; harbor technologically advanced defenses; and contain populations that went into slumber 10,000 years ago.
