Description

Bringing Order to Kaos! takes place in an underground Arkeyan fortress, filled with traps such as flamethrowers and spinning blades. Trivia

  • The reason there is an Avalanche button is because Arkeyans celebrated their surprise birthdays by dumping a bunch of rocks and pieces of the ceiling on them while yelling "Surprise!" According to Arkeyans, there was no better way to celebrate one's birthday, hence the button.[1]
  • Bringing Order to Kaos! shares most of its visual design with Lost City of Arkus.
  • Bringing Order to Kaos! does not include any Feats of Strength.
  • Kaos's boss battle originally included an extra phase in which he trapped the player on a narrow platform, requiring them to attack his arms on either side. This phase was removed for unknown reasons.
  • The Machinery area was initially designed as part of the Lost City of Arkus.[2]
  • Part of the theme for this level was later reused as the title screen theme for Skylanders: Ring of Heroes.
  • In Giant's alpha, Bringing Order to Kaos! was notably different from its finalized counterpart.
    • Most of the alpha's breakables are missing, as are its enemies. Only a few Grenade Generals and Arkeyan Jousters appear as a placeholder foes.
    • The alpha's collectibles are missing as well, though large rubies sometimes serve as placeholders.
    • The Roboto-Balls, their dispensers, and their levers originally appeared in red and yellow gear motifs, bearing entirely different designs from the final game's.[3]
    • The alpha's main theme originally included a male choir, and was much more dramatic than the final version used in-game.
    • The alpha's moving platforms, spinning gears, and some of its walls and platforms possess a different design than the final game's. The flamethrower hazards are different as well, being modeled off grills rather than jets.[4]
    • The Magic elemental area originally included a secret cave, accessible by shoving a pushblock off the path and then landing on top of it. The cave itself is dark and vaguely designed; the final game omits it entirely.[5]
    • In the alpha, the Arkeyan Vault lacks both its gate and its Skystones challenger, allowing the player to walk straight to its inner chamber.[6]
    • The earliest alpha build of the level concludes when the player walks toward the final bridge, skipping the entire boss battle against Kaos.[7]
