Elemental Gates are obstacles in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and Skylanders: Giants. They act as entrances to secret areas within each level. To open a gate, you must have a Skylander of the element on the gate, approach it and the gate of the respective element will disappear, allowing entry into the elemental zones.

Gates appear in each level in the game (except for The Oracle), sometimes hidden.
