Lava Balls are rare environmental hazards found exclusively in Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, appearing in Lava Lakes Railway, Magma Bank Island and Lava Flow Grotto. They serve as timed, projectile-based traps.
Lava Balls launch indefinitely from specific pools of lava in a slow, arcing motion, traveling from one side of the lava to the other. Each ball leaves behind a trail of fire as it flies through the air. If a Skylander walks into one during its ascent, they will take damage. The balls fire in regular, timed intervals, requiring players to study the rhythm and cross at just the right moment.
