Quotes

  • (when addressing a Core Skylander) "A Skylander! Hey great to meetcha! You guys sure did a number on that creep Kaos and I can't thank you enough for it!"
  • (when addressing a Giant) "WHOA! Holy moly, you're a big one, aren't ya? I had heard legends about you Giants but to actually meet one here... wow."
  • "So this here used to be a great spot until those terrible Trolls put in the big churning machines. I don't even know what those crazy things do, but I do know that there is still some great treasure in there not to mention my lucky hat!"

Trivia

  • Otoro's name comes from the Japanese word otoro, which is the culinary term for the fattiest part of the belly area of bluefin tuna, greatly desired for sushi.
  • In his appearance in Skylanders: Giants by the Water Elemental Gate in Troll Home Security, Otoro has unique dialogue when talking to Giants as opposed to Core Skylanders. This makes him unique among the NPCs in Skylanders: Giants.
  • In alpha versions of Giants, Otoro appeared in his original character model, complete with his yellow coloration and black suit.[1] The reason behind his visual alteration remains unknown.
